Crew Member Nomination
I wanted to pass along an unfortunate incident that happened at Fayetteville that ended up having a good outcome. Yesterday we had a woman come into the restaurant and enter the ladies room. She unfortunately decided to try and end her life by slitting her wrists in the stall. She was found my one of my managers. My manager obviously was upset and notified the rest of the staff what happened. One of my crew members, Ben, ran out to his car and got a tourniquet and immediately began helping the woman. He was able to reduce the bleeding enough until the paramedics arrived and the woman’s life was saved. I know the FO acknowledges acts that go above and beyond the call of duty and I think the action by Ben qualify. I just wanted to share this heroic act with you. In addition, Ben is a third-year medical student at St. George's University School of Medicine.
