Penny is known by her students as "Miss Flowers." The name reflects this positively vibrant and fresh human. She is a dedicated crew member at a rural Virginia branch of McDonald's while also teaching at a local high school and taking classes to finish her teaching certifications. She routinely spends her paycheck buying rewards for students or decorating the room to instill excitement around holidays or marked accomplishment milestones. Penny would appreciate any accolades. She deserves it.
